Tying the knot in beautiful Fiji, Brie walked down the aisle glowing with her beautiful baby bump in the tropical sun. We kept Brie’s original vision of a fitted silhouette but changed the waist to an empire line made in a gorgeous linear beaded lace with a layer of apricot tulle.

How did you meet?
J and I meet at the Massey University Bar (Ferg’s🤣🤣) he was security and I quickly became a regular to get dressed up and hang outside with him. Haha

When and where did you get married?
Married in Fiji at the Sofitel Resort. 24th May 2019 

What was the theme/aesthetic of your big day?
We didn’t have a “theme” per se, it was more we wanted an “island” wedding with lots of greenery, plants and the beach. We wanted to create an atmosphere that represented us and make sure our guests felt relaxed and on “island time” .... we had no colours, it was all neutrals, whites and greens.

What was the biggest source of inspiration while planning your wedding?
Pinterest and an amazing Fiji weddings private Facebook page. Was totally my saviour! I planned the whole thing myself, so there was lots of research on my part, sticking to exactly what I wanted and making it work even though a lot of my requests were new to the resort managers. 

The most memorable moment from your day?
Oh my gosh, I don’t have just one moment. The whole day from start to end was everything I imagined. Jeremys vows, seeing my son when I walked down the aisle, the moment my dad and I saw each other. Finding out about our little girl during our cake cut/gender reveal, receiving my beautiful Korowai and watching my Samoan Hubby perform a Haka for me. Honestly, the night was perfect. 

The biggest hit on the dance floor was:
Mrs Nicole Mio - one of my beautiful bridesmaids! She didn’t leave the dance floor all night, except to get a drink!

We honeymooned in: 
Fiji at Paradise Cove in the Yasawa Islands. It was absolutely phenomenal.

Did you always have an idea in mind of what you wanted your dress to look like?
I always had an idea of the shape of gown I wanted but wasn’t sure on materials and cuts. I also didn’t plan on being pregnant at my own wedding, but hey, that’s life right?!
